Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you sign up. Contractors also provide company name, phone, license number, and service area.

Lead information: when you request a quote, we collect your name, email, phone, project details, and location so we can match you with contractors.

Usage data: pages visited, referrer, and device information collected via analytics to improve the Service.

Communications: messages you send through contact forms, support email, or in-app messaging related to leads.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match homeowners with relevant contractors based on service and location.
• To send you notifications about your leads, quotes, and account.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including our cost calculators and guides.
• To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

With matched contractors: when you submit a quote request, your contact details (name, email, phone) and project details are shared with the contractor(s) matched to your request so they can respond.

Service providers: we use third-party providers for database hosting (Supabase), email delivery (Titan SMTP), and analytics (Google Analytics). These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Lead data is retained to maintain service history and reviews. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and analytics (understanding traffic). Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage data. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. Residents of California (CCPA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) have additional rights regarding their personal data.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords, encrypted database connections, and rate limiting. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
